This Law and Order: Special Victims Unit spec script was written with Samarah Cohen. It received third place in the 2020 Scriptapalooza TV writing competition. This story addresses two important and often rarely talked about issues: the flawed foster care system and female perpetrators of sexual violence. In this piece, a young woman in foster care who has been allegedly sexually abused goes missing. The squad at SVU must find her and her actual perpetrator before it’s too late.
